Baseball teaches your child patience, accountability, and how to handle failure with grace.
Baseball is the slowest of the fast sports — and that's the point. Between pitches, your child has to think. Between at-bats, they have to wait. Between errors, they have to forgive themselves and get ready again. The game punishes impatience and rewards preparation. Every player fails more than they succeed. What we're really teaching at Mills Park and our Rancho Cordova fields isn't batting mechanics — it's how to carry yourself when things don't go your way.
